Dear All,

I've shared a list of topics from the book Taboos and Issues by R. MacAndrew & Ron Martinez. They are varied and I hope exciting to discuss.

Please add the topic your group has chosen and explain why this is what you are willing to discuss further. Also, explain why you think you will be interested in discussing it.

    Dasha Zvereva and I have chosen three topics:
    1.Children who kill
    2. Sexual harassment
    3.Legalising drugs.
    As for me, I think these topics are the most popular and relevant for research.

    Arina Goncharova and I decided to discuss these topics:
    1) Sexual Harassment;
    2) Children who kill;
    3) Legalising drugs.
    I think that these problems are very relevant and important. There are many points of view I'd like to know.

    My partner Kate Ponomareva and I have chosen these three topics:
    1. The right to die
    2. Anxiety and depression
    3. Sexual harassment

    We think that these themes are very urgent to discuss in our country. Especially the right to die, because we have none in Russia.
    We hope our groupmates will find these topics interesting to discuss too. <3

    Hello, everyone! Dasha Fomchenko and I decided to choose these topics: "Animal Rights", "National Stereotypes", and "Sport and Money". We find these issues really controversial and urgent for our society nowadays, and we want to discuss them with our groupmates. We hope that after talking over these problems we will form a common opinion.

    Thanks for sharing your choices with us in the blog. Below you can see a summary of your choices I prepared based on the information you have provided:
    Children who kill: 3
    Sexual harassment: 3
    Legalising the drugs: 2

    And the rest of the topics got 1 vote each:
    Anxiety
    Sports & money
    Abortion
    Immigration

    And because there's no clear winner i had to make a final decision in choosing the topic for discussion.

    And the winner is: Children to kill

    We'll discuss this topic with you in class today and in the coming weeks we'll work on some more topics from the same list that won more support than others. Hope it's fine by you.
