DeleteHello, everyone!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to tell you about one of the plagiarism checkers I've tried. It is named 'Dupli Checker' and you can find it if you'll follow this link: https://www.duplichecker.com/?utm_campaign=elearningindustry.com&utm_source=%2Ftop-10-free-plagiarism-detection-tools-for-teachers&utm_medium=link .
It allows you to check the originality of the text and prevent some unpleasent situations. For example, if you don't check the informatiom you'd like to use, the real author won't like it.
It's very easy to use, you just need to copy the text and press the button, so information will be checked.
DupliChecker is completely free and available 24/7, so that is the real reason why I like it.
Also I like the idea that you can download a document, so you don't need to copy it all the time.
In my opinion, plagiarism checkers are also necessary because you need to track down similar sentences.
Dasha,
DeleteThanks for your informative post. You have managed to explain really well the features of this plagiariam checker because of which you prefer it. It is good to know too that you used it before and I hope you'll continue using it.
Hello there!
ReplyDeleteRecently, I've tested one plagiarism checker tool - COPYLEAKS. https://bit.ly/2E62dGx
There are some benefits.
This tool is suitable for education an business.
It can also check files of different formats (doc, pdf, html, txt and more).
It can offer you a mobile app and an MS Oficce add-on.
And there are some disadvantages.
If you want your files to be checked you have to create an account and only then you'll be able to check them.
Moreover, there is a restriction that allows you to check only 10 pages for free, after 10 pages you have to buy a subscription that costs about $10.
In addition, this is a quality tool, it searches for plagiarism well, but you have to pay to check more than 10 pages. If you are able to pay some money and you want a quality plagiarism checker, so you can use this one.
Thanks for the information you have provided. It gives a good idea about the affordances of this tool. And here is an explanation of what an affordance is https://blog.teamtreehouse.com/affordances-web-design
DeleteThank you for this information, because I found some new plagiarism checkers which I didnt know. And these shortener services are the real thing, I didn't know about such apps before our lessons!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you learned smth useful during the lesson and hope you will use one or serval plagiarism checkers. It'd be interesting if some time later you shared your impressions about using some more tools if you do it.
